In mid-August 2025, I decided on a whim to do a road trip up the coast of California from Los Angeles to Santa Cruz. I was already in LA for work and had some free time for the upcoming week, so I jumped on the opportunity to explore parts of my favorite state that I have never seen before (despite being raised here)!
